Privacy notice

BubbleLevel Privacy Policy

This notice covers the BubbleLevel Android app and bubblelevel.sikelialabs.com. BubbleLevel does not require a Sikelia Labs account to use its core leveling functions.

1. Controller and contact

BubbleLevel is published as part of the Sikelia Labs project in Italy. Privacy requests can be sent to privacy@sikelialabs.com.

2. Data processed locally

Sensor readings used for leveling, inclination, calibration and profiles are primarily processed on the device. Profiles, surfaces, preferences, saved measurements and reports may be stored locally until the user deletes them, clears app data or uninstalls the app.

When a user chooses to attach a location to a project or surface, BubbleLevel may access approximate or precise location after Android permission is granted. The location is used for the requested feature and may be stored in the app's local database.

3. Security, Play Integrity and the Notary service

To protect the app, premium features and monetization flows against tampering or fraud, BubbleLevel uses Google Play Integrity and a Sikelia Labs Notary service hosted on Cloudflare infrastructure. This flow may process integrity tokens, technical installation/device identifiers, public keys or their hashes, request identifiers, app-version information and network data such as the IP address visible to the server. These data are used for security, fraud prevention and integrity verification, not to build a Sikelia Labs advertising profile.

4. Purchases and RevenueCat

Purchases and subscriptions are processed by Google Play. BubbleLevel uses RevenueCat to determine purchased products, entitlement status and purchase restoration. Pseudonymous app/user identifiers, product information, transaction receipts or tokens and the purchase history needed to determine entitlement state may be processed. Sikelia Labs does not receive full payment-card details.

5. Optional Google Drive

If a user explicitly enables Google Drive sync or backup, the app starts a Google authorization flow and uses the granted access only to provide the requested backup/sync feature. Drive data are not used by Sikelia Labs for advertising or unrelated purposes. Users can revoke access in their Google Account settings and manage or delete backups in their Drive space where applicable.

6. Voice and microphone

Voice features require microphone permission. Speech recognition is provided by recognition services available on the Android device; depending on the provider selected by the user, audio may be processed locally or by that provider. BubbleLevel is not designed to store voice recordings on Sikelia Labs servers.

7. Google Maps and location services

Optional location selection or display features may use Google Play services and Google Maps. Google may receive technical and usage data under its own policies when those services are used.

8. Rewarded ads and UMP consent

Some BubbleLevel releases may offer user-initiated rewarded advertising. When this feature is enabled, Google Mobile Ads may process IP address, approximate location inferred from IP, device or advertising identifiers, app/ad interactions and diagnostic data. For users covered by applicable consent rules, BubbleLevel uses Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) to obtain and manage consent preferences before requesting ads when required. Privacy options can be reopened in the app when available.

9. Official website

bubblelevel.sikelialabs.com is delivered through Cloudflare. Its initial configuration does not load analytics, advertising trackers or profiling tools. Cloudflare may process technical data required for security, routing and site availability. See the Cookie Policy.

10. Retention and deletion

Local data remain on the device until the user removes them. Data handled by third-party services follow the relevant provider's retention rules and applicable obligations. There is no proprietary BubbleLevel account to delete. For requests concerning data processed directly by Sikelia Labs, including access, correction or deletion where applicable, contact privacy@sikelialabs.com.
